1. What is your general average of this moment and how many hours do you practise in a week?
My general average of this moment, from the last 3 years, is around 0,900. Normaly I practise 5 to 10 hours a week, but sometimes around 20 hours. In the passed I practised more, but now a little less.
2. Are you a proffesional billiardplayer or do you also work?
No, I have to work. I work in a department store for 7 years now. I sell men's items, like wallets and bags. I didn't care where I had to work, but here I could work with them allowing my billiard life. But recently I can not play a tournament without asking permission. I would like to get another job, but then I have to find another good job first.
3. You don't play many world Cups or other International tournaments. How come?
I have to work for a living. It will cost me a lot of time and money to play and my average is to low to participate at the World Cups. I play a lot of Open- and Ladies tournaments in Tokyo. There are around 10 to 12 tournaments a year. These tournaments keep me focused and give me good experience. It is much cheaper for me to play tournaments in Japan. That's enough for me.
4. You are 3 times World Champion. Why has Japan never organised the World Championship?
There are many reasons. We don't have a big sponsor. Our billiard situation in Japan is getting worse at the moment. If we want to held a Wc in a billiardclub, that would be much cheaper. But they want to organise in a big place with television. It's not easy to make it happen. Then maybe I could find a sponsor, but I don't have time, because I have to work. Most of my day I'm working.
5. How disappointed are you, that there hasn't been a World Championship this year?
The WC is one of my biggest targets. It is a very important tournament, but it's not everything in my billiard. Of course I hope it will be organised very soon. If it's there every 2 years, the women always have a good target and something to practise for.
