Irena Michalkova was born on February 16 in 1977 and she lives in Prague, Czech Republic. Nobody ever heard from here untill she participated in the World Championship in 2004. She became number 13 and since then she playes al big tournaments for female. She is the only female in Czech Republic who playes 3cushion. With the men she is number 45 of Czech Republic. She became number 8 at the European Championship in 2007 and in 2008 she was number 7 at the World Championship. She became 11th at the European championship in 2009
