Therese Klompenhouwer is born on January 3rd 1983 in Nijkerk, Holland, where she still lives. She plays 3cushion and she is multiply Dutch- and European champion and in 2006 she was Vice-World champion in 3cushion. She is the number 1 on the world rankinglist for ladies. She is playing billiards since she was 8 years old. She started with libre and when she was 19 years old, she made the stap to 3cushion. She did not learn it from a stranger, because het father, her mother, her uncle and her grandfather are also playing billiards. Her brother was also a big billiard player. She is in the National selection of the National coach Christ van der Smissen. Now she is one of the best known and playing female 3cushion players in the world and she has many records and titles on her name. Her average is around 0,950.
